Open Tuesday to Friday
10:00am - 4:00pm.
Open from 1st April to 31st October 2026.

Limited toilet facilities available.

  • Admission : £5.00 suggested donation
  • Historic House members please enter your membership number on the sheet in the Orangery
  • Unusual hardy plants for sale
  • Dogs are admitted in garden but must be on leads
  • Groups by arrangement
  • Most paths in the garden are wheelchair accessible
  • Weddings by arrangement

The House
Norton Conyers house will open for the first time in 2026 on Friday 1st May.
It is open for a total of 28 days over the spring/summer.
The dates are in our calendar below.
If you are interested in arranging a group visit in 2026 please contact us by email.


  • House and garden entry fee is £15.00
  • Tours of the house are at 1:00pm, 2:00pm and 3:00pm.
    30 people per tour.
  • We do not take advanced bookings for our tours.
    We suggest that you arrive slightly before the starting time of the tour you want to join in order to secure places on it.
  • Historic House members must show a valid membership card
  • Please wear flat shoes to protect the fragile wood floors
Visitors please note that Norton Conyers does not open until April 2026

Norton Conyers has a special atmosphere, resulting from 400 plus years of ownership by the Graham family.
Recent excavations beneath the house revealed evidence of a large Anglo-Saxon house.
